Government Description
Air ambulance services for VAPIHCS. Provides Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) air ambulance services twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, including holidays, for beneficiaries of the VA pacific island healthcare system (VAPIHCS). Services include passenger air charter and related passenger support to transport patients from neighbor islands to medical facilities in honolulu, Hawaii, using contractor-owned stretchers, wheelchairs, linens, and other required items. All travel is one-way from a neighbor island to oahu, HI.
