The contractor will provide an IV Workflow Management Solution (IVWMS) for multiple locations within VISN 20, including software and hardware components to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency in pharmacy departments. The IVWMS features remote pharmacist checking of technician work, double-checking via volume/weight comparisons, barcode scanning, gravimetric verification, and electronic tracking for hazardous and non-hazardous preparations. Documentation capabilities include storage of ndcs, lot numbers, and photographs of compounded medications for recall and data analytics.
