Non emergent ground ambulance services provided for the Portland, or VA Medical Center (VAMC) and its catchment area. The contractor supports the VA Portland health care system (VAPORHCS) by delivering urgent and non-emergent stretcher transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) for veterans in Portland and surrounding communities. Services also include the transportation of patient luggage and medical records at no additional cost, and are available 24/7 in compliance with all applicable regulations. Contractor personnel are required to maintain professionalism and adhere to all contract-specified qualifications.
