AMARILLO VA PHARMACY COMPOUNDING IDIQ FOR ONCOLOGY MEDICATIONS. PROVIDES CHEMOTHERAPY PREPARATION SERVICES FOR PATIENT USE AT THE AMARILLO VA MEDICAL CENTER, INCLUDING PREPARING CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC PREPARATIONS PURSUANT TO MEDICATION ORDERS FROM VA ONCOLOGISTS OR HEMATOLOGISTS IN A CETA CAG CERTIFIED ENVIRONMENT. SERVICES INCLUDE NEXT DAY DELIVERY OF COMPOUNDED CHEMOTHERAPY PREPARATIONS, DAILY SHIFT SIGN-OFF WITH ISSUE SUMMARIES FOR VA PHARMACY STAFF, AND MONTHLY ACTIVITY REPORTS. ALL WORK IS PERFORMED IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE POLICIES AND STANDARDS, INCLUDING THOSE SET BY THE JOINT COMMISSION, WITH COMPETENCY TRAINING MAINTAINED FOR ALL STAFF INVOLVED.
