Government Description
Custom surgical packs provided to support the clinical needs of the surgical service for the south Texas veterans health care system, specifically tailored for the surgery department at the audie L. Murphy VA medical center and associated facilities. The contractor supplies custom surgical packs that include a variety of components necessary for surgical procedures, such as cardiac cath packs, major vascular packs, and custom cardio-thoracic packs, with the ability to maintain 35,000 individual pack components. Packs are tailored for specific surgeries, comply with the Trade Agreement Act (TAA), and require local clinical staff approval, with standard delivery available five days a week and emergency same-day delivery options. A color-coded labeling system is used for easy identification.
