Government Description
Healthcare for homeless veterans with medically enhanced services for the central Texas veterans healthcare system. This work provides emergency shelter and medically enhanced services for up to 10 homeless veterans (male and female) per day in Austin or temple, Texas. Services include supportive, secure housing for veterans recovering from medical illness or injury, with access to case management and guidance to improve housing stability and facilitate transition to permanent housing. The program meets all Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contracted Emergency Residential Services (CERS) requirements and includes medical oversight.
