Government Description
North Texas B2 wheelchair transportation services provide transportation for veterans and persons requiring travel in connection with treatment or care for a service-connected disability. The contractor delivers wheelchair transportation services to and from locations including bonham, garland outpatient clinic, tyler VA primary care clinic, plano cboc, dallas VA medical center, and other VA facilities and community hospitals within and outside the service area. Services are available 24/7, 365 days per year, and vehicles must meet federal and state insurance, licensing, registration, and safety standards, with maintenance performed according to manufacturer recommendations or improved schedules based on actual operation conditions.
