Durable medical equipment services provided for the Veterans Health Care System of The Ozark (VHSO), part of VISN 16 VA healthcare network. Services include delivery and pick-up of durable medical equipment to and from VA medical facilities or beneficiary addresses, storage, assembly, setup, installation, adjustment, and disassembly of basic dme such as manual wheelchairs and scooters. Additional tasks involve providing patient instructions for use, care, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, cleaning and processing VA equipment to ensure proper sanitation and storage, and performing repairs on all dme and wheelchairs to restore them to first-class condition based on a pre-approved agreement with the prosthetics & sensory AIDS service.
