Government Description
Prosthetics long term DME services provided for the G.V. (SONNY) montgomery VA medical center and affiliated cbocs in Mississippi. The contractor delivers, picks up, stores, assembles, installs, sanitizes, repairs, and maintains va-owned Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Medical Equipment (HME) for eligible veterans and their caregivers. Services include repair of mobility devices, safety inspections, in-service training, compliance with the joint commission standards, emergency setup and management, provision of loaner equipment, and adherence to infection control and emergency preparedness policies. Detailed records are maintained for each veteran regarding all items picked up and delivered.
