503A PHARMACEUTICAL DRUG COMPOUNDING SERVICES PROVIDED FOR THE G.V. (SONNY) MONTGOMERY VA MEDICAL CENTER IN JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI. THE CONTRACTOR PERFORMS PHARMACY HAZARDOUS COMPOUNDING SERVICES, INCLUDING THE PREPARATION AND SUPPLY OF ALL CHEMOTHERAPY AGENTS, IV TUBING, CLOSED SYSTEM DRUG-TRANSFER DEVICES, AND OTHER NECESSARY ITEMS, WITH COMPOUNDING PERFORMED AT AN FDA 503A COMPLIANT FACILITY. ORDERS ARE SUBMITTED SECURELY, CONFIRMED BY VA STAFF, AND DELIVERED TO THE FACILITY'S INPATIENT PHARMACY BY 11:30 AM CST THE NEXT DAY, WITH ALL DRUGS SUPPLIED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND INVOICED BASED ON MEDICATION UTILIZED PER PRESCRIPTION. ALL COMPOUNDING AND LABELING ACTIVITIES MUST COMPLY WITH USP 797 AND USP 800 STANDARDS.
