Government Description
CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY NURSING SERVICES. THE NURSING FACILITY SHALL ENSURE CARE MEETS THE HEALTH NEEDS AND PROMOTES THE MAXIMUM WELL-BEING OF VA PATIENTS, FURNISHING NURSING HOME CARE TO MEET TOTAL MEDICAL, NURSING, AND PSYCHOSOCIAL NEEDS OF VA BENEFICIARIES. SERVICES INCLUDE PHYSICIAN VISITS, LABORATORY TESTS, X-RAY SERVICES, AND OTHER SPECIAL SERVICES FOR VA PATIENTS AT THE SAME FREQUENCY AS PROVIDED TO OTHER PATIENTS RECEIVING COMPARABLE LEVELS OF CARE. CPROVIDED WILL ALSO INCLUDE ROOM, MEALS, NURSING CARE, AND OTHER NECESSARY SERVICES OR SUPPLIES COMMENSURATE WITH THE VA AUTHORIZED LEVEL OF CARE WITHOUT EXTRA CHARGE.
