Government Description
VISN-15 Prescription Eyeglasses And Optician Services Provides Prescription Eyeglasses And Onsite Optician Services at Various VA Facilities Within the Heartland VA Health Care Network (VISN 15). The contractor manufactures and delivers prescription eyeglasses in multiple lens types (single vision, bifocal, trifocal, progressive) and frame materials (metal, titanium, plastic, safety), ensuring all products meet ansi standards. Lenses are available in glass, CR-39, polycarbonate, and high index materials, and veterans may privately pay for upgrades such as anti-reflective coating and photochromatic lenses. All orders are delivered within seven business days after receipt of prescription/order.
