Government Description
Health care for homeless veterans from the wichita VA medical center catchment area, wichita, Kansas. Under this award, the contractor provides Contracted Emergency Residential Services (CERS) for homeless veterans within 25 miles of the robert J. Dole VA medical center, offering emergency housing, case management, and supportive services such as mental health stabilization, substance use disorder treatment, independent living skills, and vocational training. Services include room and board, meals, laundry, internet access, transportation, and on-site office space for VA staff, with a focus on rapid stabilization and placement into permanent housing. The contractor is responsible for individualized service planning, crisis intervention, and coordination with VA and community resources to support veterans’ transition to stable housing.
