Government Description
Ambulance service for dayton VAMC provides non-emergency ambulance transportation services, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) for veterans served by the dayton VA medical center. The contractor furnishes all required labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision to perform urgent and non-emergent stretcher transports, BLS, ALS, and CCT services as needed. Transport includes patients' luggage, medical records, medications, and comfort items at no additional cost, and utilizes the vetride vendor portal or va-approved transportation software for managing requests. All personnel must meet contract qualifications and comply with applicable regulations, and vehicles are maintained to safety and cleanliness standards.
