Government Description
Home oxygen delivery service. Provides all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to deliver home oxygen to veterans and their families within the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS), james H. Quillen, and memphis VA medical centers. Services include furnishing warehouse space, surplus supplies, in-home respiratory therapy visits for patients with ventilators, coordinating and managing patient care, delivering and picking up supplies, briefing patients on equipment use, documenting supply usage, and inspecting homes for compliance with the joint commission (TJC) home oxygen safety standards. The contractor also provides a range of in-home oxygen supplies and equipment, such as concentrators, cylinders, portable oxygen systems, nasal cannulas, masks, adapters, and replacement parts, and is responsible for delivery and associated services related to proper equipment use.
