Government Description
Mail FIT kit services provided for VISN 8 locations, including the supply of Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) kits and mailer collection kits with labor, materials, supplies, and patient navigation to fulfill the mailing service. The contractor mails collection kits for testing approximately 60,000 veterans annually, assembles and prepares packets with labeled FIT kits and return envelopes, and utilizes telecommunications to inform veterans about testing and instructions. All kit information is provided in english and spanish with a flesch reading score above 80, and follow-up communications are conducted with veterans who have not returned kits. Reports are submitted to VISN 8 detailing kits mailed and issues encountered, and the collection kits are compatible with existing instrumentation used in VISN 8 laboratories.
