Government Description
Durham HVAC AE SATOC is an Architect-Engineering (A-E) design contract for the durham VA Medical Center (VAMC), set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The selected A-E firm will provide professional services to design the replacement of air handling units and auxiliary chillers, including site investigations for architectural, mechanical, electrical, and environmental hazards, preparation of construction bid documents, and development of construction strategies to maintain medical center operations. Additional tasks include reviewing submittals and shop drawings, assisting in contractor evaluations, conducting site visits to ensure compliance, and participating in inspections and punch list generation.
