Mech BPA. The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a multiple award fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the VA health care system located in Washington, dc to provide essential mechanical and plumbing services, including maintenance, repair, replacement, and demolition of various systems to support the operational needs of the facility. Includes maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or demolition of plumbing systems such as drain, waste, and vent repair, compressed gas system components, medical gas analysis and certification, plumbing leak repair, pipe insulation and labeling, sewer and storm drain clearing, grease trap cleaning, and sump pump servicing. Additional tasks include hvac-r systems work such as duct work testing and repair, direct digital controls installation and upgrades, variable speed drives repair, ac compressor maintenance, as well as testing and repairing pumps and compressors within mechanical systems. Emergency services are also provided with a two-hour response time for urgent repairs, with work occurring during regular or after hours based on VA needs.
