Wheelchair transport baltimore. Provides wheelchair van transportation services for eligible beneficiaries of the VA Maryland healthcare system, including all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and uniforms. Services include transportation to and from VA medical centers and clinics in baltimore, MD, with coverage available 24/7 throughout the year and scheduled service monday through friday from 6 am to 6 PM, with flexibility for earlier or later service as needed. The contractor must maintain a minimum 90% timely response rate for pick-up requests, provide wait time reimbursement after a 30-MINUTE grace period, and typically transport one veteran beneficiary per trip unless otherwise authorized.
