Government Description
Hospitalist physician staffing. Provides hospitalist and urgent care physician staffing services at the hudson valley healthcare system, including the montrose VA medical center and castle point VA medical center. Services include scheduling and providing 8,336 hours (4.0 FTE) of when (weekend, holiday, evening, night) hospitalist coverage between the two VA facilities, with hospitalists who are board certified or board eligible in internal medicine. The contractor also supplies a credentialed pool of at least 10.0 FTE hospitalists and a contract physician director, who participates in quality improvement activities and committee meetings, and has a minimum of 5 years of recent VA facility experience.
