Government Description
Prescription eyeglasses manufacturing services for VISN 2 upstate. Services include the fabrication and delivery of dress and safety prescription eyeglasses for eligible veteran beneficiaries, offering a wide range of frames and lenses such as single vision, bifocal, trifocal, progressive, and premium progressive options in compliance with ansi and FDA standards. Contractors provide new, non-discontinued frames in metal, titanium, plastic, and safety styles, with options for anti-reflective coatings, photochromatic lenses, and lens upgrades available to veterans. All orders are processed and shipped in hard cases to VA facilities or veteran residences within seven business days, with expedited delivery for emergencies, and include warranty coverage, repair kits, sample kits, display racks, and access to a secure online ordering platform.
