VA Maine hcs wheelchair van transportation services. Provides pre-arranged, non-emergent wheelchair van transportation for VA Maine healthcare system beneficiaries, including transport to and from togus VA medical center, community based outpatient clinics (CBOCS), and community healthcare appointments across Maine. Services are performed monday through friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 PM, and include safe accommodation of one or two patients per trip, patient welfare oversight, and reporting of adverse events. The contractor is responsible for maintaining quality control, vehicle safety, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
