Government Description
Electrophysiology Catheters. This Award Provides Biosense Webster Electrophysiology (EP) catheters and related products, including diagnostic, ablation, and intracardiac ultrasound catheters, introducer sheaths, trans-septal needles, 3D mapping electrodes, and mapping catheters, for use in invasive cardiac electrophysiology laboratories and procedural suites within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) across the United States and Puerto Rico. The EP catheters are used for diagnostic testing and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, including mapping, diagnosis, and ablation procedures, and are designed to integrate with the biosense webster carto 3 system for real-time cardiac mapping and therapy delivery. Products provided must meet FDA 510K approval requirements, maintain state-of-the-art standards, and support both routine and emergency cardiac procedures at VA medical centers.
