Government Description
Electronic Payroll Information Exchange (PIE) provides the Social Security Administration (SSA) with access to past and current wages and employment information for individuals applying for or receiving Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. The contractor develops and maintains a secure web service that receives requests from SSA and returns matched wage and employment information on a monthly basis. All necessary resources, including labor, supervision, materials, and technical expertise, provided by the contractor to support this information exchange, with all work performed at the contractor’s facilities.
