Hearings under this contract will be conducted by SSA's Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) at hos, prss, sos, and cov sites in region 7, which encompasses four states: Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska. Provides qualified and trained verbatim hearing recorders (VHRS) to assist administrative law judges (ALJS) with administrative aspects of hearings, including digitally recording each hearing. VHRS are responsible for preparing the hearing room, testing and operating government-furnished recording equipment, connecting all participants to each hearing, and utilizing SSA systems such as E5H and MS teams for scheduling and remote hearings. These services support disability hearings at multiple locations throughout region 7.
