Government Description
Hearings under this contract will be conducted by SSA’s Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) at hearing offices (HOS), permanent remote sites (PRSS), and Claimant Only Video (COV) sites in region 04-2, which encompasses Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Provides qualified verbatim hearing recorders (VHRS) to assist administrative law judges (ALJS) by digitally recording hearings and performing administrative support tasks, including hearing room setup, equipment operation, and post-hearing duties. VHRS are responsible for daily site preparation, participation in each hearing, and ensuring quality control using government-furnished equipment.
