Government Description
Celery and broccoli harvest. The contractor is responsible for harvesting mature broccoli and celery from approximately 380 to 450 acres at the unicor lompoc farm, supplying all necessary materials and labor, grading and packing crops in compliance with good agricultural practices, transporting harvested vegetables to designated coolers, and ensuring all products meet quality control standards. Training for inmate workers on proper harvesting, grading, and packing techniques may be provided if required.
