Government Description
Type II helicopter services in burns, or. The Interior Business Center (IBC), acquisition services directorate (AQD), in support of the Department of the Interior's (DOI) Bureau of Land Management (BLM), requires fully contractor operated and maintained type II helicopter services to support fire suppression and natural resource activities. Missions include interagency fire management program support such as wildland fire suppression, fire monitoring, initial attack, and related resource activities, with some technical flights conducted in high angle vertical environments with minimal rotor clearance. The contractor may be required to operate from alternate bases when dispatched by the government.
