Government Description
Type II helicopter services provided in apple valley, CA. The contractor operates and maintains type II helicopters to support fire suppression and natural resource activities for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), including wildland fire suppression, fire monitoring, initial attack, and related resource missions. Technical flights may be conducted in high angle vertical environments with minimal rotor clearance, and operations may require deployment from alternate bases as directed by the government. The contractor must possess FAA certificates under 14 cfr part 135, 133, and 137.
