Government Description
Ground station as a service provides site certification, telemetry downlink data services, and satellite commanding data services for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, And Information System (NESDIS), Office of Projects, Planning, And Analysis (OPPA). The contract includes primary services such as space to ground communication service and ancillary support services including systems compatibility assessment, proficiency testing and demonstration, technical support and troubleshooting, and unique implementation and deployment. Gsaas task orders have supported missions such as COSMIC-2 in west africa and the south pacific, paz in scandinavia, and KOMPSAT-5 in scandinavia, as well as additional COSMIC-2 services in Rwanda and tahiti.
