Government Description
The R3 fuels and vegetation management IDIQ is a Multiple Award Service (MAS) contract to provide for fuels treatment, wildfire hazard reduction, and related services. Includes vegetation manipulation, burn unit preparation, stand improvement, manual thinning, intermediate treatment, lop and scatter, manual piling, hand-constructed fireline, hand-constructed fuel breaks, mechanical thinning, skidding/decking, mastication, machine piling, machine fuel breaks, machine firelines, and chipping/grinding. Contractors are responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, and supplies necessary to complete these tasks in compliance with applicable regulations. Services are performed across Arizona and New Mexico national forests and national grasslands.
