Government Description
The R3 fuels and vegetation management IDIQ is a Multiple Award Service (MAS) contract to provide for fuels treatment, wildfire hazard reduction, and related services. Work performed includes vegetation manipulation, burn unit preparation, stand improvement, manual thinning, intermediate treatment, lop and scatter, manual piling, hand-constructed fireline, hand-constructed fuel break, mechanical thinning, skidding/decking, mastication, machine piling, machine fuel break, machine fireline, and chipping/grinding. Contractors are responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, and supplies required to complete these activities in compliance with applicable regulations. Services are delivered across Arizona and New Mexico national forests and national grasslands.
