IDIQ contract for jackson traps. The jackson trap is utilized in a variety of insect monitoring programs for environmentally and economically significant exotic insect pests. Aphis-ppq uses jackson traps within federal regulatory pest programs to protect american agriculture from pests of concern and to gather information about pest presence necessary to maintain access to export markets. Ppq conducts insect detection surveys using jackson traps and specialized lures to support regulatory decision-making for federal quarantine pests.
