Government Description
NC MATOC road maintenance and construction contract. Includes road maintenance, road construction, and minor engineering services for forest service roads on all national forests in North Carolina, as well as surrounding ranger districts in Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, and South Carolina. Tasks may involve improvements to gravel surfaced parking lots and related facilities, including erosion control, clearing and grubbing, site grading, aggregate and asphalt surfacing, installation of signage, bollards, pavement marking, and other features necessary to complete the projects. The contract also supports emergency repairs, such as restoring access to rainbow springs road after hurricane-related damage.
