Government Description
Grounds and facility maintenance. Provides all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to perform routine, special response, preventive, cyclical, and non-routine grounds maintenance services. Tasks include facility and grounds cleaning, mowing, landscaping, edging, trimming, weeding, herbicide application, leaf removal, cleaning and sanitizing floors, drinking fountains and restrooms, cleaning vents and fans, emptying trash, cleaning pavilions, campsites, fire rings, light fixtures, interior/exterior of buildings, gutters, picnic tables, laundry areas, playgrounds, beach and recreation areas, and policing for litter. All cleaning services require appropriate detergents, disinfectants, and cleaning materials.
