Government Description
Region 1 road maintenance and forest maintenance/support services provided throughout the national forests and national grasslands within region 1. Includes maintenance and repair of national forest roads, such as road grading, maintaining the crown and drainage features, removal of minor slides and slumps, and vegetation clearing including disposal of trees and hazard tree removal as directed by the us forest service. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform these road maintenance tasks. Construction services are not included in this requirement.
