Government Description
Life tech USDA-wide IDIQ. This contract provides the U.S. Department Of Agriculture (USDA) with reagent supplies and laboratory equipment necessary for conducting molecular biology, protein research, and cell science work—including cellular growth, imaging, and analysis technologies—across multiple USDA locations. Work performed includes the supply and maintenance of real-time pcr systems (such as quantstudio and abi instruments), genetic analyzers, nucleic acid extraction and purification systems (E.G., kingfisher), sanger sequencing supplies, and a wide range of pcr reagents and assay kits for applications such as animal disease diagnostics, plant virus detection, and high-throughput genotyping. The contract also covers preventative maintenance, service agreements, and system upgrades for laboratory instruments and supports research and diagnostic efforts in areas like African Swine Fever (ASF), High Path Avian Influenza (HPAI), and other molecular and genetic studies.
