Adap shortfall relief - the proposed project will ensure access to HIV medications and comprehensive medical care for low-income individuals living with HIV.
Missouri’s coordinated system of care includes medication with the ADAP program and health insurance continuation, which improves the overall health of clients.
In Missouri, 78% of people with HIV are virally suppressed, while 92% of people with HIV who are in Ryan White care and receiving services are virally suppressed.
Clients will be able to achieve and sustain viral load suppression with access to the coordinated system of care, which is a key component of continued wellness and preventing HIV transmission.
