Overview
Grant Description
Application Purpose: The funds will be used for public transportation providers in Wyoming for operating project administration, preventive maintenance, intercity bus, state administration of the program, and RTAP funding for training and technical support.
Activities Performed: This grant will fund the following categories of activities:
- $3,697,306 - Operating assistance for rural providers
- $1,797,352 - Project administration assistance for rural providers
- $1,298,347 - Preventive maintenance assistance for rural providers
- $1,358,601 - Intercity bus - 15% of the 5311 apportionment
- $905,733 - State administration - 10% of the 5311 apportionment
- $120,347 - RTAP apportionment
- $9,177,686 - Total FTA funds
Expected Outcomes: This award will assist in funding public transportation costs for existing providers during FFY2023 and FFY2024 as they are still recovering from the COVID pandemic and getting their transit programs back on track.
Intended Beneficiaries: Agency staff and transit providers.
Subrecipient Activities: This grant will fund public transit costs for the following subrecipients:

- Eppson Center for Seniors
- Campbell County Senior Center
- Converse County Seniors
- Lander Senior Citizens
- Wind River Transportation Authority
- Goshen County Senior Friendship Center
- Buffalo Senior Citizens
- Cody Council on Aging
- Sheridan Senior Citizens Council (Goose Creek Transit)
- Sweetwater County Transit Authority
- Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit
- Powell Senior Citizens
- Riverton Senior Citizens Center
- Services for Seniors
- South Big Horn Senior Citizens
- Washakie County Senior Citizens Center
- Black Hills Stage Lines
- Alltrans Inc.
- Jefferson Lines
- Western Trails Charters
- Greyhound Lines
