Grant Description
The Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority (EPTA) is applying for FFY 2017 Section 5339 Buses and Bus Facilities Infrastructure Investment Program Discretionary Grant in the amount of $4,500,000 to construct a new administration/maintenance facility and transfer station on the property being acquired at 412 W. Race Street, Martinsburg, WV.
On June 25, 2018, a Federal Register Notice (FRN) was published announcing the Federal Transit Administration's selection of projects funded under the Bus Program. In this FRN, as detailed on page 29609, EPTA was selected to receive $4,500,000 in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) FFY 2017 Section 5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Infrastructure Investment Program funds.
A copy of the competitive application proposal is attached under Documents. The non-federal share will be provided by the EPTA ($391,000) and in-kind match of land ($734,000). The in-kind match was approved by FTA on June 30, 2021, and attached to this grant under Application Documents.
