Grant Description
Application purpose: Funds awarded will be used for vehicle purchases that will assist the Milwaukee County Transit Systems efforts to provide more efficient and reliable transportation to the fixed-route transit riders in Milwaukee County;
Activities performed: Purchase of thirty (30) 40-foot clean diesel buses for 2024;
Purchase of thirty-nine (39) 40-foot clean diesel buses for 2025;
Expected outcomes: These replacement buses are expected to offer lower emissions and fewer road calls resulting in a cleaner more reliable service for riders.
Intended beneficiaries: All current and future users of the Milwaukee County Transit System.
Subrecipient activities: None.
