Grant Description
Application purpose: The purpose of this award is to fund new 60 articulated battery electric buses charging infrastructure and bus facility renovation projects.
Activities performed: Funds under this grant will be used to support the New Flyer 60 articulated battery electric bus deployment charging infrastructure and bus facility renovation projects.
Expected outcomes: Funding will allow the City of Madison--Metro Transit deploy new 60 articulated battery electric buses charging infrastructure and bus facility renovation projects.
This will allow for sustainable service expansion, lower harmful emissions, and help improve safety.
Intended beneficiaries: The benefit for the City of Madison and Dane County riders will be the improved transit options which enhance the public transit experience.
Subrecipient activities: None.
