Grant Description
APPLICATION PURPOSE: THE PURPOSE OF THIS GRANT IS TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF APPROXIMATELY NINE DIESEL-HYBRID BUSES FOR EVERETT TRANSITS FIXED-ROUTE FLEET.; ACTIVITIES PERFORMED: FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR THE PURCHASE OF APPROXIMATELY NINE DIESEL-HYBRID BUSES THAT WILL REPLACE TWO DIESEL AND SEVEN DIESEL-HYBRID BUSES PAST THEIR FTA USEFUL LIFE.; EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THE EXPECTED OUTCOME FOR THIS GRANT WILL BE IMPROVED STATE OF GOOD REPAIR FOR TRANSIT ASSETS AT EVERETT TRANSIT AND INCREASED SERVICE RELIABILITY FOR ITS FIXED-ROUTE SYSTEM.; INTENDED BENEFICIARIES: THIS PROJECT WILL BENEFIT EVERETT TRANSITS SYSTEM AND ITS PATRONS. THIS INCLUDES RIDERS OF EVERETT TRANSIT WHICH SERVES A MUNICIPALITY OF AN ESTIMATED 110629 RESIDENTS.; SUBRECIPIENT ACTIVITIES: EVERETT TRANSIT DOES NOT HAVE SUB-RECIPIENTS.
