Grant Description
This application includes $4,532,400 in FY2020 discretionary funds (Discretionary ID #D2020BUSC190) to replace Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system equipment located within three buildings on Metro's Central/Atlantic Base Complex.
Purpose:
The purpose of this award is to replace HVAC system equipment located within three buildings on Metro's Central/Atlantic Base Complex. The project would replace multiple facility HVAC systems in 3 buildings at the Atlantic Base: the NRV (Nonrevenue Vehicles) building, the TMS (Tire and Millwright Shop) building, and the TCC (Transit Control Center) building.
Activities to be performed:
Replace Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system equipment located within three buildings on Metro's Central/Atlantic Base Complex.
Expected outcomes:
Sustain lower facility operating costs.
Intended beneficiaries:
Metro staff, existing and new Metro transit riders, will benefit from new HVAC systems.
Subrecipient activities:
None.
