Grant Description
Application purpose: The purpose of this grant award is to purchase twenty-five CNG buses to replace diesel buses that have met their useful life.
Purchase and installation of CNG fueling infrastructure at UTAS Depot District Clean Fuel Technology Center CNG fueling building.
Purchase shop equipment and tools and provide on-site staff training on the new CNG buses.
Activities performed: Purchase twenty-five replacement CNG buses.

Expected outcomes: Reduced fuel costs promoting energy independence and training opportunities for UTA staff.
