Grant Description
APPLICATION PURPOSE: THE PURPOSE OF THIS GRANT AWARD IS TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF EXPANSION TRANSIT VEHICLES DEPOT CHARGERS AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING.; ACTIVITIES PERFORMED: ACQUISITION OF FOUR FULL AND TWO PARTIAL LARGE HEAVY-DUTY EXPANSION TRANSIT BUSES AND THREE DEPOT CHARGERS. WORKFORCE TRAINING WILL ALSO BE FUNDED IN ORDER TO OPTIMIZE STAFFS UNDERSTANDING OF THE NEW VEHICLES TO BE OPERATED ON UTAH STATE ROAD 248 CORRIDOR. ; EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THE PROJECT WILL PROMOTE EXPANDED TRANSIT SERVICE FOR PARK CITYS WORKFORCE AREA TRANSIT USERS AND SEASONAL VISITORS.; INTENDED BENEFICIARIES: RESIDENTS AND VISITORS TO PARK CITY UTAH.; SUBRECIPIENT ACTIVITIES: PARK CITY TRANSIT IS THE SUBRECIPIENT AND WILL PERFORM THE SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDED IN THIS GRANT AWARD.

THE GRANTS FOR BUSES AND BUS FACILITIES COMPETITIVE PROGRAM PROVIDES FUNDING TO REPLACE REHABILITATE AND PURCHASE BUSES AND RELATED EQUIPMENT AND TO CONSTRUCT BUS-RELATED FACILITIES INCLUDING TECHNOLOGICAL CHANGES OR INNOVATIONS TO MODIFY LOW OR NO EMISSION VEHICLES OR FACILITIES.
