Grant Description
Application Purpose: This FFY 2021 Section 5337 Formula Fund Grant will support the rehabilitation of up to 20 of UTAS Traction Power Substations (TPSS) supplying power to the TRAX Red and Blue lines.

Activities Performed: The scope of work of this grant is the rehabilitation of up to 20 of UTAS TPSSs that serve UTAS TRAX Red and Blue lines.

Expected Outcomes: Activities funded through this grant will keep UTAS TPSSs in a state of good repair and allow them to meet their anticipated useful life of 40 years.

Intended Beneficiaries: The population of UTAS service area and riders on UTAS TRAX Red and Blue lines. Maintaining TPSSs in a state of good repair will allow UTA to continue to provide quality and reliable service.
