Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this project is to continue with the bus replacement program of compressed natural gas (CNG) buses.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used to purchase compressed natural gas (CNG) buses.
Expected Outcomes: Funding will permit the City of Laredo Transit to replace fourteen (14) diesel buses with new compressed natural gas (CNG).
Intended Beneficiaries: The City of Laredo Transit seeks to purchase and deploy fourteen (14) CNG transit buses and permanently dismantle the fourteen (14) existing diesel buses which will complete Laredo's commitment to providing a near-zero safe sustainable transit fleet for the community.
Subrecipient Activities: None.
