Cooperative Agreement

Overview

Grant Description
Popss: Partnerships & Opportunities for Adolescent Health Preparation, Support and Services - Partnerships & Opportunities for Adolescent Health Preparation, Support and Services (POPSS) aims to equitably bolster adolescent health outcomes and mitigate disparities through the integration and utilization of a system-focused approach to advance teen pregnancy prevention programs and services.

We propose an innovative systems approach, utilizing evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs, services, and strategic partnerships in the greater Chicagoland area. We will strategically partner with the Lurie Children's Hospital for the implementation of evidence-based programs, ensuring community voices and partnerships in the initiative. Lurie Children’s will provide leadership and coordination between congregate care, school, and healthcare settings for equitable adolescent health programming, meeting adolescents where they live, learn, and access healthcare.

Texas A&M Health will lead grant administration, collaborative learning, and monitoring and improvement. POPSS will advance inclusive, equity-focused programs and the development of a blueprint to support adolescent sexual health as a foundation for young people to live, grow, and thrive.
