Overview

Grant Description
Application purpose: This capital project will upgrade our parking lot at our maintenance facility and upgrade our current radio system.

Activities performed: Paving the space beside of our maintenance facility to accommodate more parking spaces for our spare and out of service vehicles.

It will also provide a space for our propane filling station EV chargers and vehicle wash station.

Various lighting and landscaping will be included as well.

We will also be procuring new radios and dispatch console for our drivers and dispatch.

The improvements will be made at our maintenance facility located at 100 Parkway Blvd Elizabethton Tennessee 37643.

Expected outcomes: Continue to provide safe and reliable transportation services that our customers so desperately need.

We will reduce the congestion at our maintenance facility and continue to grow our green footprint with the EV chargers and propane filling station.

The radios will provide reliable communication with our dispatchers especially in emergency situations.

Intended beneficiaries: The urbanized areas outside of Kingsport Johnson City and Bristol corporate city limits.

Including but not limited to: Bluff City Elizabethton Unicoi Telford Jonesborough Mt. Carmel Church Hill Surgoinsville Rogersville.
